A few months ago, the announcement that a white actor was cast as Michael Jackson sent shock waves on the Internet. The idea was stupid from the get go, but Sky Arts still decided to produce the episode and showed us a sneak peek, that sent even more shock, to Jackson’s family.
But the real question is, should it have even been produced? Did they see what the actor looked like and where in the world did they think that was a good representation of the singer.
I don’t really care about this series, was not going to watch it, but now, am even more sure that was the right decision.
