WestWorld: HBO success

If you haven’t watched HBO’s new hit show WestWorld, we strongly suggest you do so. This show as so many twist and turns that will keep you guessing to the very last episode. Fans of the show must now wait until beginning of 2018 for the second season of this acclaimed show.

The show stars Anthony Hopkins as Robert Ford. He his the brains behind the technology made to create the “robots” that are now impossible to tell apart from humans. He created a world where humans pay big bucks to go and do with these “robots” called “Hosts” on the show whatever they want. Murder, rape, sex and any other scenario that the human wants can be executed there. The Hosts are then wiped clean of any memories, cleaned up and repaired and put back in the story, the shows calls it “narratives”. Something happens in the premiere that changes the behavior of some of the “Hosts”, notably one named Dolores, portrayed by the brilliant Evan Rachel Wood. At first is like having a deja-vu experience and then those moments become more intense and she starts actually remembering past events that makes no sense with her current programming. This kind of behavior is also spotted in other Hosts that cause concern with management. The root cause if found to be in a update made by Ford called “Reveries” that permits them to access past experiences.

The show gets even more intense as the episodes pass by with surprising twists and turns along the way. We strongly suggest you start it. Below is the link for the first episode.
